THE Form Four national examinations results for 2016 released and The best-performing school countrywide was Feza Boys Secondary School of Dar es Salaam.
The First Student among top 10 best-performing candidates is Alfred Shauri from Feza Boys Secondary School,
Alfred attributed his success to hard study, prayers and concentration.
“I have always dreamt of becoming the best in whatever I do. This is a dream come true, and I thank God for this reward,” he said.
Accompanying her son on his school visit, Alfred’s mother Adela Shauri said: “We take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to his success, and especially the teachers and others, because our son has grown into a special person.
On 15th February a ceremony was held at Feza boys’ campus whereby Davids Bwana was the key reason for the ceremony. The first runner up of the DSTV Eutelsat challenge wrote a unique and convincing essay on how African satellite can improve Africa.
The Feza boys’ and of course Tanzanian gem was inexpressibly elated when he was announced the second in Africa. He was happier when he saw his colleagues happy for him.
He was driven to participate in the competition by the fact that it was his last chance as a form 6 student , hence he put his focus and utilized the chance effectively.
Davids advises his fellow students to cultivate interest in reading books, and having fun in seeking knowledge like accessing different sources like channels such as national geographic, which also makes him the ‘second smartest kid in Africa’
Davids has been rewarded a trip to multichoice south Africa and the south African space Centre in Johannesburg. The school gets a TV, HD PVR and a free DSTV education bouquet
